Dear members of Delhi Nephrology Society,
I feel honored and priveledged to be elected the President of prestigious DNS. This society is probably the stongest nephrology regional body in India with illustrious and respected members like - Prof. KK Malhotra, Prof. Dash, Prof. Tiwari, Prof. RVS Yadava, Dr. Rana, Prof. Kher, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Dr. PD Gulati, Dr. SNA Rizvi, Dr. H Johari and the list is endless.
During last few years nephrology community in India has taken a beating primarily due to negative projection given by the media. I with support of you all, shall try to undo some of this by giving positive projection of DNS to media.
Academics shall remain the primary thrust area. It is planned to have regular monthly meetings in different institutions during the year. Annual Conference of DNS organised by SGRH marked the beginning of academic feast for 2006.
Prof NP Singh singularily with his dedication has been able to complete the Web site of DNS. This shall not only provide academic forum but shall provide information about events of the society and ease communication among the members.
I along with governing body of DNS, seek your kind co-operation to take the flag of glorious DNS even higher.
